The end of the visit to Iraq by the Arab League Secretary General coincided with the Independent Electoral High Commission announcing success in the referendum on the Iraqi draft constitution by 78.59% after ten days of delay. Amr Moussa had put forth the initiative of the Arab League aimed at organising a conference on Iraqi national reconciliation to be held in Cairo by mid-November. The broad themes of the Arab League’s initiative were specified by two issues: 1- The League’s support for building a new Iraq. 2- Rallying all the Iraqi factions under a framework of dialogue and a national Iraqi reconciliation. Amr Moussa had promised to open a bureau for the Arab League in Baghdad and justified the absence of the League’s role by stating that Iraq had been proceeding through a dark tunnel “with no light at the end of it in sight. But now, we look forward to the future and to building a new Iraq which will be an example to follow.” Moussa secured the consent to the Arab League’s initiative from most of the political spectrums in Iraq including al-Sistani and the Association of Muslim Scholars. In addition to lending a spurious Arab legitimacy to America’s dummies in Iraq, enabling them to conclude the task of executing America’s plans, and in addition to having come as a crowning to the American efforts in making the referendum on the Iraqi draft constitution successful, the role assigned to the Arab League has now become timely to complete the picture of a new American Iraq designed to become the example to follow in the region, especially as the new secular constitution stipulates the implementation of a federalism that will fragment Iraq on sectarian and ethnic lines and will become the trend in the further fragmentation of the countries in the region in order to deplete them and further weaken them, making it harder for them to rid themselves of the American hegemony and consolidating what will alienate them further from becoming united in one single state, which its rise, the West is dreading, as it was noted from the statements made by George Bush on 16th October, when he warned against the naissance of an “empire that spans from Spain to Indonesia”.

As for Syria, America continues to exert pressure on her as the results of the probe into the killing of al-Hariri are announced. The pressures are expected to enable Bashar Assad to occasion a host of changes that will target the former political milieu and its extensions within the various parts of the regime; they will also target the state’s apparatuses, especially the security ones, because it would be difficult to carry out the changes demanded by America if the old guard with their deeply rooted security systems, conventions, relations and stances were to remain. Hence, it was imperative to generate the pretence for these changes, and this pretence is reflected in what Syria is experiencing in terms of pressures that may develop into sanctions or limited military strikes. Besides, Bashar Assad realises that his non-compliance with all that America demands would hasten his dismissal from office especially as American activity aimed at luring some key figures in the Syrian army has been noted. America is clearly concentrating on removing certain leaderships in the Syrian security apparatus and this became clearer when Detliv Mehlis pointed the finger at Syrian and Lebanese security leaderships, considering that such leaderships may not assimilate to what the changes will demand in terms of embracing the opposition and abandoning the harsh secret service-based regime. There are several reasons warranting a deduction that the American pressures will pave the way for Bashar Assad to forge ahead with what America is dictating in terms of changes and arrangements for the tenets of “a new Syrian behaviour” and to brush aside the remainder of the old guard or those whose stay conflicts with the shaping of a new Syria. The latest reason was the Franco-American endeavour to submit a draft bill to the Security Council stipulating the imposing of sanctions on individuals rather than the regime in Syria. The draft resolution spares Bashar Assad and his team by requesting from the Syrian state to arrest those incriminated. What indicates Bashar Assad’s collaboration and concord with the Americans is his talk hours before the liquidation of Ghazi Kanaan about his readiness to arrest and punish severely any Syrian national whose incrimination is confirmed and his consent to bring to trial whoever is charged from among the Syrians either before the Syrian or international courts. A presidential decree was even issued hours earlier ordering the appointment of a Syrian judicial committee to probe the slaying of Rafiq al-Hariri and to cooperate with Detliv Mehlis committee and the Lebanese judiciary. Hence, Bashar Assad seems ready to fulfil the American wishes whether in respect of the political milieu or the security apparatuses. He gives in to the disparagement of the state’s sovereignty by agreeing to an international trial and he is very determined to get rid of anyone standing in the face of the American reforms for the sake of keeping his throne. He has clearly demonstrated his cooperation in settling the issue of the organisations loyal to Syria, especially the Palestinian groups, which may cause him some embarrassment with America as she proceeds towards executing the requirements of the Roadmap peace plan, especially since the issue of Lebanon’s refugees must be under the auspices of Mahmoud Abbas who confirmed during his meeting with the current Lebanese prime minister Fuad al-Siniora that the Palestinians were guests who ought to abide by the law.

As for the Palestinian issue, the military structures of the Palestinian organisations and armed factions are being weakened either through the “Israeli” assassination of the field commanders or by paving the way for potential confrontations with the Palestinian Authority, which will lead to settling the issue of the organisations’ weapons and preventing armed manifestations. This however will be after some retaliatory strikes by the organisations being currently targeted by “Israel” in order to remind the “Israelis” of the consequences of operations inside “Israel” and along the green line, thus paving the way for settling the issue of the Jewish settlements in the West Bank, by evoking such domestic pressures on the “Israeli” public opinion, coupled with external pressures, mainly those exerted by George Bush and Condoleezza Rice who insisted on completing the Roadmap peace plan and those exerted by the Quartet Committee, as well as the regional pressures such as the statements made by the new Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about wiping out “Israel” from the map. After that, settling the issue of the organisations’ weapons and banning the armed manifestations will be an easy matter.

As for Lebanon, America’s progress towards reshaping the regime domestically is conspicuous and this may necessitate some constitutional adjustments. In addition to the American embassy pursuing every single detail, America has unleashed the United Nations special envoy Terje Roed-Larsen to design a mechanism to execute the remainder of resolution 1559, with the issue of the organisations and the militias at the top of his priorities. This became manifest when the Lebanese army laid siege to the two bases of the PFLP/General Command and when the pretences emerged for the government in Lebanon to intervene and settle the issue of weapons outside the refugee camps and consequently inside them, in view of the fact that the Palestinians are mere guests according to Mahmoud Abbas.

Those who pursue the events of the region discern clearly that America is restructuring and reshaping the region in a manner that will ensure the fragmentation and the depletion of its countries to the point that will secure their affiliation to the West and prevent the return of Islam to the realm of life. This is the broad theme for which the state of “Israel” has been established and for which the West has maintained its animosity towards the Islamic Ummah. The events of the region have been proceeding in order to achieve this aim and this is what the rulers of the Arab states are endeavouring to achieve under the instructions of America. If the Ummah fails to perceive the dimensions of this plot and its dire consequences, the region will inevitably be subjected to a new fragmentation and this time, it will not be on geographical lines as was the case in the past, but on a sectarian and ethnic basis, which will sow the seeds of hatred and animosity among the children of the one single Ummah and will perpetuate her division and weakness. This will hamper her efforts in ridding herself from the yoke of the American hegemony and prevent her from restoring her unity under one single state as she had been for more than thirteen centuries.

This is mainly what America is plotting and endeavouring to generate in the region. She is making use of the European assistance and using the collaborators and the mercenaries to execute her plans. She controls the media at will to impose what she wants and crushes anyone standing in the way of achieving her aims, without any heed for conventions nor any concern for laws, because she establishes the conventions and makes the rules according to her interests and the requirements of her policies.

Dear Noble Ummah… Dear Muslims in Syria specifically…

The issue has now become more serious as America intends to humiliate the Muslims further. She will not hesitate in shedding blood and violating the honour, which indicates that what happened in Abu Ghraib was merely the tip of the iceberg. The solution lies solely in the hands of this Ummah through courageous commitment and sacrifice. America with the West behind her, wants to prevent the return of Islam to the realm of life; they even writhe in fear at the mention of Islam when they witness the Islamic Ummah refusing to pine away and perish, despite what they practised on her in terms of intellectual invasion, political deception and bloody wars. In order for America and the West to succeed in preventing Islam from returning to the realm of life, she is intent on fragmenting the region further into weaker statelets on an ethnic or sectarian basis, so that they may either remain at odds with one another or compete in serving America. This will keep the region under the shadow and the yoke of the Kafir West’s influence, albeit with regimes that sport new looks and which may satisfy some of the people’s need in the Islamic lands to rid themselves of the criminal regimes and give them a distorted sense of freedom. On the other hand, in order for the Islamic Ummah to prevent the execution of this plan, the work should proceed in two directions:

1- To stand up to the traitors from among the agents and the collaborators who propagate the American plan in the region and to confront this plan at all levels and in all forums.

2- The sincere officers in the Syrian army should respond to the aspirations of their Ummah, seize the reins of power before it is too late, announce the rise of the Islamic State (the Khilafah State) and call upon the children of the Ummah in Syria and beyond to protect her and join her in pledging allegiance to a Khalifah, turning the region into an effective battlefield as soon as the expected intervention of America and the Kafir West occurs. Hence, the Ummah will be able to seize the initiative and expel the Western influence from our lands for good. This is the only solution. If the Ummah were to be slack in assuming her role in this battle, the region - Allah forbid – would face the gravest of dangers and the greatest strife and evil. Only if she sought protection from Allah (swt) and obeyed Him she will be able to avert the calamity.

Dear Noble Ummah…

America deems Iraq as a central front in her war on “terrorism” and she is determined to execute the project that she has started in Iraq, despite the difficulties she is facing and the financial and human losses incurred by her forces in their war against the people of Iraq. However, she does not realise that the Islamic Ummah will not abandon her Islam, that she will not embrace the Western civilisation and that she will remain a lump in America’s throat. If the Ummah unified her forces, unleashed the energies of her children and referred to the Shari'ah of her lord in her life’s affairs, neither America nor the rest of the Western powers could stand in her way. The fate awaiting the American influence in our lands is disintegration. Her collaborators, mercenaries and criminals will face their inevitable end at the hands of the Ummah’s children. The matter will not stop at that, for there will be more to come and this for Allah is no great matter.

Dear Muslims…

America and the West no longer need to hide behind the agents to execute or consolidate their plans, nor do they need to engineer the means to impose their will. Their disdain towards the Ummah has reached the point where any of their ambassadors, officials or those of the United Nations, act like the High Commissioners during the era of mandates used to, in overtly and arrogantly running the political affairs of the Islamic lands, without giving the Ummah a second thought. This is due to the level of weakness, division and lowliness she had sunk to after she had been the crown of nations, with their state attaining a grandeur that conquered empires and saw fortresses crumble before her.

Dear glorious Ummah…

The power of America and the Kafir West will not be able to resist the will of the nations if these nations were to settle their issue. The Islamic Ummah is characterised by having a vivacious belief capable of steering its embracers towards annihilating their enemies with an energy never witnessed in any other nation. The Kuffar realise this. In the past decades, they focused their attention on gaining the loyalty of a chieftain leader, because individuals are susceptible to treason. This was after they had realised that the Ummah capitulated to the Western thought. However, when the omens of the Ummah’s awakening started to loom large on the horizons and America realised that what applies to individuals does not apply to nations in terms of treachery and buying consciences, she once again set about deceiving and terrorising the Ummah, not realising the effectiveness of Islam if embraced by the Ummah convincingly as the solution to her issues. So, will we aid the cause of Allah so that we may regain our glory and illuminate the world with the light of Islam?
