The Political Comment

In a remarkable speech delivered on Thursday 6th October 2005 before the crowd gathered at the National Endowment for Democracy to mark the anniversary of the 11th September 2001 attacks, George Bush said that  “the terrorists regard Iraq as the central front in their war against humanity. And we must recognize Iraq as the central front in our war on terror.” He described his enemies as being part of a radical Islamic movement  with “a clear and focused ideology”. He added: “The militants believe that controlling one country will rally the Muslim masses, enabling them to overthrow all moderate governments in the region, and establish a radical Islamic empire that spans from Spain to Indonesia.” George Bush was unequivocal in his speech when he said that “the murderous ideology of the Islamic radicals is the great challenge of our new century.”  He added :“Yet, in many ways, this fight resembles the struggle against communism in the last century.” The statements of George Bush coincided with the US army’s release of a letter they allegedly found in a hideout of al-Zarqawi in Iraq, sent to him by al-Zawahiri, in which he urged him not to target civilians in Iraq and told him that fighting the American forces and expelling them from Iraq would be followed by the establishment of the rightly-guided Khilafah that would fight Egypt and Syria, then “Israel”; all this was according to the letter attributed to al-Zawahiri.
 
By making these conspicuous statements about the threat posed by the rise of an Islamic state and by allowing the release of the letter attributed to al-Zawahiri in order to corroborate the credibility of his talk about “terrorism” and adopting Iraq as a foothold for the Khilafah state, which will mushroom throughout the Islamic world, George Bush wants in the first instance to rally the European states behind him so that he may arrange for them the appropriate roles in what the American administration had previously defined as the strategy of the “war on terrorism”.  He mentioned in his speech that “defeating a broad and adaptive network requires patience, constant pressure, and strong partners in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and beyond. Working with these partners, we're disrupting militant conspiracies, destroying their ability to make war, and working to give millions in a troubled region of the world a hopeful alternative to resentment and violence.” Therefore, Nato forces will be the cornerstone in the execution of the “Greater Middle East” initiative, which includes most of the Islamic world’s region, so that America may place the European states in a direct confrontation with the Muslims. It was obvious that the threats to make the European states a target and what happened in Spain and London in terms of bomb attacks, in addition to what Italy is threatened with was directed towards generating a conviction among the people of Europe about the necessity to back their governments in fighting terrorism. This is exactly what happened, because France, Italy, Britain, Germany, Belgium and Austria resorted to drafting new legislation, mobilising the security services and expelling a number of Muslims as a precaution against potential attacks. Therefore, America has succeeded in this step and she wants to consolidate the European states’ backing of her policy by evoking the Europeans’ dormant emotions of fear from the rise of a state for the Muslims that will extend to the other side of the Mediterranean in a direct confrontation with Europe; this would give a strong incentive to close the ranks of the European states behind America in the “fight against terrorism”, although the leaders of Europe realise the extent of the pressures that America could exert on them by undermining their economic and political interests, especially as the structure of the European Union after its expansion will strongly serve the American policy.

On another plane, because he has already exhausted his pretexts before the American public opinion, Bush wants to present his people with a new pretext to justify the stay of the US army in Iraq and to even dispatch more troops to meet the impending threat to the American interests and to the future of her unilateral domination over the world this century. This prop will serve as a suitable basis before the American public opinion for the American moves towards the Middle East region and even the whole of the Islamic world.

The plain and frank talk of George Bush about the threat of an Islamic State rising will pave the way for the distortion of the Khilafah’s image before the world and in the hearts of the Muslims, by linking it to everything that may affront Islam and its carriers; it will also give him the justification to inspire his hired guards from among the evils of the Muslim lands to tighten their grip on all those working for the fundamental issue of the Muslims, namely the resumption of the Islamic way of life through the establishment of the Khilafah. Although those evils and their agents can plainly discern that their relationship with America would not extend beyond their serving of her interests,  their shortsightedness and their disdain towards their Ummah, as well as their extensive harming of her children who endeavour to regain her might, restore her squandered dignity and her lost status among other nations, do not come as a surprise.
 
America’s attempt at exploiting the concept of Khilafah in the future cannot be ruled out; she has already dallied with the concept of Jihad to serve her interests in depleting the former Soviet Union. She may design a distorted  and twisted specimen that is prone to destruction in order to deliver a blow to this concept among the Ummah who yearns to pledge allegiance to a Khalifah who implements the Shari’ah of Allah, bringing glory to her deen and carrying the flambeau of light to illuminate this world which has been darkened with Kufr under the leadership of the American administration that represents the head of Kufr of our times.
 
Dear Muslims…

America the criminal has girded up her loins and prepared her tools to fight Islam and the Muslims. She wants to take onboard her European partners in the confrontation with the Muslims, exploiting them and their faculties to serve her interests. She wants to use up the faculties of the treacherous rulers in sowing the seeds of deceptive concepts and in depleting and terrorising the Ummah further. She wants to evoke strife so that the energies of the Ummah may be squandered in the inter-fighting, especially with her endeavour to establish the so-called Shia Crescent , which will appear with the eruption of a civil war -Allah forbid - in Iraq. America wants to fragment the already divided Muslim lands by imposing the notion of federalism and ultimately, she wants to abort the rise of the Islamic state that has become the aspiration of the Muslims worldwide, by either diluting or twisting the concept of Khilafah, especially by linking it to all the practices that harm Islam and portray the Muslims as barbarians and that barbarism will be the trademark of their Khilafah.
 
Dear Muslims…

The Islamic Khilafah is a general leadership for the Muslims of the world. It is one of the uppermost duties, even the protector of the duties, because with its presence, the rules of Shari'ah are established and the Da’awah to the world is conveyed. The work towards establishing the rule of Allah is obligatory; a Muslim has no choice in the matter. Slackness in the performing of this duty amounts to a major sin, because  it is an abandonment of the trust the Muslims have been assigned with the task of carrying Islam to the world and a forsaking of the rule of Shari'ah to which they had been ordered to refer. However, it would be very deceptive to work towards establishing a Khilafah in an occupied country whose security is not in the hands of the Muslims. Many non-occupied lands in the Islamic world are suitable for the rise of the Khilafah. The issue requires a real  determination from the Ummah to work with us towards establishing Islam in the realm of life, by redressing the state of affairs, getting rid of the clans that collaborate with the West and giving the Bay’ah to whoever fulfils the requirements of the Khalifah, to lead the Muslims and their armies not only to deliver their brothers and sisters from the shackles of the military occupation in Iraq, Palestine and other parts of the Muslims lands, but to also carry the message of Islam to the whole world. Adopting Islam and its return to the realm of life is the issue of every Muslim; this means he must live for it, not for trivial solutions that would concentrate the presence of the West, such as the so-called “reforms”, or the referendum on the draft constitution in Iraq, or the rise of a freak state for the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, or enacting the civil reconciliation  law and asking people in Algeria to vote on it and portraying this as the solution to the problems of the masses in Algeria.
 
Dear Noble Ummah…

The current struggle is the very struggle that occurred in 1918 and before. It was however a struggle with an Islamic State representing the Islamic Ummah, then with the “sick man of Europe”. Then after the destruction of the Islamic State, it became a struggle between the Islamic Ummah and the Kufr nations and it is currently a struggle between the Islamic Ummah and the Kufr nations headed by America. Although the struggle in the past decades was conducted through the political actions, the collaborators and the tool of the West “Israel”, it is however today a direct struggle between those nations and the Islamic Ummah. The Muslims will not turn away from their enemy nor will the struggle deviate from its reality; its heat will rather intensify and its tone will increase, because it is a struggle for survival not a struggle over interests. The Islamic Ummah is capable of settling this struggle with the West, i.e. with the Kufr nations headed by America, if she makes Islam its vital issue and turned the current struggle into a decisive battle and if she realised that with the  powers at her disposal, she is capable of standing up to America, her allies, her agents and her tools; she is even capable of threatening their interests, weakening their international influence, and smash the status quo of the international situation dominated unilaterally by America, thus preventing her from deciding the fate of humanity. This will only be achieved if the Ummah rallies her forces, moves with her sincere children towards establishing the Islamic State and appointing one single Khalifah for the Muslims and if she generates that sincere leadership who is capable of achieving the victory in this struggle. The Muslims in general, including the Arabs, are but lions lying in wait, needing only that sincere leadership to salvage them from their predicament and steer them towards settling the struggle with the West once and for all. Hence, not only is the Islamic Ummah capable of restoring Islam to the realm of life, but of shaping the international relations anew according to what the conveying of Islam to the world through what Jihad necessitates.
 
Dear Muslims…

Could anyone with an opinion or an author or an intellectual still claim that America and the Kafir West do not take Islam as an enemy while rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths? What their hearts conceal is far worse.

The duty of all the children of the Ummah is to spur the influential and those with power to move towards the salvation of the Ummah from this shame, humiliation and the loss of status among the nations of the earth; and most important of all is to avert the wrath of her Allah for failing to carry to the whole world His message which He entrusted her with.

The duty of every influential individual and everyone with power at his disposal is to shake off the dust of leaning on this life and realise that his major duty is to salvage his Ummah from the abyss she had plunged into and to support the Deen of Allah before the day when no excuse will be accepted arrives, when he stands before his Creator to be accounted for his actions, thus he will either head to the bliss of heaven or to a hell whose fuel is men and stones.
 
“It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the Deen of Truth, to make it prevail over all other deens, even though the idol-worshippers may detest it.” (TMQ 9:33)
