The Political Comment

The Jewish war machine continues to unleash its bombs on Gaza, tearing the bodies of women, children, elderly and youths, and destroying their homes, mosques, schools and livelihoods, while hundreds of thousands of soldiers, officers and commanders of the so-called frontline countries stand debilitated behind their silent guns, prevented by their leaders who have pledged their volition to the Western Kafir led by America, from defending their brethren against the cowardly Jews. Those commanders and officers were not moved by the call of Allah to them from the seventh heaven: “And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from you one who will protect; and raise for us from you one who will help.” [TMQ 4-75]

It is clear that the events of Gaza are proceeding according to a meticulously prearranged scenario and executed by the outgoing Bush administration in preparation for the handover of the Middle East issue to the Barack Obama’s administration on 20^th January 2009. Hence, Ehud Olmert’s cabinet acted only after receiving the American green light to bomb Gaza with all that barbarity, causing all those massacres and devastation amid the silence of the international community and the conspicuous regional collaboration. It is even noted that the Bush administration is encouraging “Israel” to pursue the military operations that reflect the extent of the brutality and hideousness in dealing with an unequal adversary and unarmed civilians, in a very densely populated area. Bush and the American shadow in Europe, Sarkozy, put emphasis on generating the pretences for “Israel” to pursue her open war, by issuing successive statements on “Israel’s” right to defend itself against the mostly makeshift missiles launched by Hamas, as the truce expired, which “Israel” never adhered to and never lifted her blockade on the Gaza Strip under the same pretence. The cabinet of Olmert wants in fact to please and at the same time contain the Israeli rightwing after the clear increase in its popularity, which makes it favourite to win the forthcoming elections. Tzipi Livni hopes, by outbidding the right, to win some votes in the elections, thus enabling her to fulfil America’s stipulation in respect of the peace process, which will lead to settling the Palestinian issue.

It seems that Barack Obama who has so far remained silent, considering that “America has one single president”, will inherit the issue as the “Israeli” rightwing will have realised that military might could not shake off the position of “Israel’s” enemies, though it may be capable of causing an impact on them, that Hamas could not be defeated, that its popularity at home and abroad has increased and that the whole world has witnessed the unjustified crimes that “Israel” has perpetrated, through the live coverage of the horrific killing of women, children and elderly, and the merciless annihilation of entire families. Hence, the international pressure will focus on compelling “Israel” to agree to a ceasefire and to reopen the commercial border crossings; the regional pressure will focus on the same with the added warning of a popular outburst as the masses have set about condemning the silence of the rulers harshly. This may lead to a “no war no peace” situation that preceded the current peace treaties with some states; such a situation could generate the possibility of a war that would be harsher on “Israel” than that of July 2006, which dented the pride of the “Israeli” army, deemed by the rightwing and the rest of the Jews as the guardian of the “Israeli” state’s acquisitions.

The war on Gaza and the resulting mass response, the widespread anger, the projection of “Israel’s” unprecedented crimes before the whole world and the beginning of “Israel’s international isolation, coupled with the implicit threats by Turkey and other countries, all this will exert pressure on the “Israeli” public opinion, because it has been observed that no sooner the pressure on the “Israeli” public opinion started to ease, than it reverted to rejecting the American peace project. Hence, the war on Gaza is expected to lead to settling the Middle East issue under the auspices of the United States and on the basis of recommendations that had been endorsed by the American decision makers and which the Obama administration will execute. The main recommendation is to give the settling of the Palestinian issue a “special priority”, as some observers deemed it as the main gateway that the new president should enter to settle the issues of the region. Daniel Senor, a former foreign policy advisor in the administration of George Bush and currently an Adjunct Senior Fellow for Middle East Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations said “the impact of those events will extend beyond 20^th January; hence the Middle East will be a high priority on the next president’s agenda.” Barack Obama with his administration is likely to lead the world in solving complex issues, mainly the Middle East crisis, as America endeavours to change her image in the world from that of dominion and arrogance to that of a leadership that requires from her, with regards to the Palestinian issue, to stop treading on the interests and the aspirations of the people of the region and from increasing their oppression for the sake of preserving the safety of “Israel” which has been the viewpoint of the people of the region towards America for decades. The Obama administration will assume solving other complex issues such as the Kashmir and the Afghan crises. This will strengthen the ability of America and her new administration to solve other world crises and change her ugly image before international public opinion. Obama announced on 1st December 2008 his intention to undertake a host of changes in the US foreign policy; he said: “We will renew old alliances and forge new and enduring partnerships.” This was in line with his recent comment on the events in Gaza. He expressed deep concern and added: “After January 20, I'm going to have plenty to say about the issue, and I am not backing away at all from what I said during the campaign, that starting at the beginning of our administration, we are going to be engaged effectively and consistently in trying to resolve the conflict in the Middle East.”

It is worth mentioning here the emergence of the role of Turkey, the sponsor of the Syrian-“Israeli” peace talks. This role was confirmed through the strong language with which Erdogan addressed those who “spread lies”, namely “Israel”. He accused the Zionist entity of violating the truce, exaggerating the threat posed by the missiles of Hamas and lacking the pretext for its disproportionate atrocities. Erdogan’s comments carried an implicit threat to “Israel” backed by the unprecedented demonstrations that numbered one million. It seems that America has assigned to Turkey the task of exerting pressure on “Israel” in addition to leading mediation that could either lead to negotiations under the auspices of the forthcoming Obama administration or to a deadlock with consequences that could be detrimental to the so-called state of “Israel”. The Turkish role was further emphasised by the failure of the Arab League and the OIC to hold a summit, the bias of the European stance led by Sarkozy and the absence of an international resolution.

Dear Muslims!

The fact that must not escape your mind is the persistent slavery and devilry of the rulers of the Muslims’ lands, especially the countries neighbouring the Jewish entity. Although the treacheries of the rulers are all too familiar to the Ummah, but what they displayed in terms of capitulation to the will of the Kuffar has exceeded all expectations.

We do realise that the overwhelming obstacle is those slaves who only bully their own people. However, is it not a calamity when the Muslims’ children pluck up their courage for every event except when it comes to the gangs of rulers in our lands? Those who let their children suckle fear from the rulers with their mothers’ milk should instead let them perceive the denotation of Allah’s saying: “Is not Allah enough for his Servant? But they try to frighten you with other (gods) besides Him! For such as Allah leaves to stray, there can be no guide.” [39-36] TMQ

Dear Muslims!

America, the enemy of Islam and the Muslims, who causes mischief on earth and works towards humiliating our Ummah and plundering the riches and faculties of her lands, is relentlessly concocting conspiracies against you, irrespective of whether Bush remained or left and whether Obama came or not. Do not be taken by the diplomacy that the forthcoming administration will adopt as a style in its foreign policy. Beware of the evil American styles in the Muslims’ lands. We must work assiduously to thwart her plots, resist her plans and adhere to the sound vision of our Ummah’s issues and their legitimate solutions.

Dear Muslims!

What ought to be highlighted is that the Ummah keeps falling victim to political deception and constant trickery that obscure the sound vision of her issues. The most dangerous style adopted by the enemies and their tools from among the collaborators of thought and politics is the distortion of facts. They resort to infiltrating the Ummah’s awareness to deviate her from perceiving her issues and their sound solutions. Our Islamic Ummah has been the most subjected to various types of deception especially after the colonial invasion, before and after the destruction of the Islamic Khilafah in the first quarter of the past century.

The issue of Palestine used to be the issue of all the Muslims, then it became an Arab issue in 1948, then a Palestinian issue in 1974, then a PLO issue, until it reached the situation we are currently experiencing, in terms of beautifying division and describing it as a virtue called independence, a victory to the patriotic identity and self-determination. Hence, many deceived Muslims fell into this trap and set about demanding the rise of a Palestinian state to be added as a new shred in the list of the freak entities in our lands, though Sharia’h orders the unification of the Muslims’ lands not their fragmentation.

The Sharia’h and radical solution to what is occurring in Gaza now is to remove the so-called state of “Israel” by mobilising the armies to fight it. Although it is prohibited for the ambassadors of “Israel”, America and other belligerent states to remain (in our lands), demanding their expulsion and the opening of the border crossings, cutting off gas supplies, boycotting the Jews and the states that back them and nullifying the treaties signed with them is not the required and the befitting actions. Also, reciting the whole Qur’an or a Surah from it, reading all the texts of the Hadith al-Sharif and making Dua’a against the Jews and their associates is not the solution. Despite the virtues of making Dua’a and reciting the Qur’an, Sharia’h however has not legislated Dua’a as a substitute for ablution to perform the duty of Salat, nor has it made the reciting of the Qur’an a substitute for striving to gain one’s provision. The solution is for the Ummah to appeal to the armies of the Muslims’ lands to move in order to save those being slaughtered in Gaza, irrespective of whether the rulers give them permission or not, because it would be forbidden to obey the ruler in an act of disobedience in the first instance. Besides, the Muslims are under no obligation to obey those rulers and chiefs. The people of power must sweep away the thrones of those who collaborate with the enemies of Allah, so that no obstacle remains in the face of a dignified life and so that the fate of our Ummah does not remain in the hands of her enemies.

Hence, the only demand the Ummah should make must be confined to mobilising the dormant troops that surround the Jewish entity, which slaughters their people before their own eyes, while they adhere to the orders of the ruling cliques from among the American puppets in the Muslims’ lands. The armies belong to the Ummah and they are financed by the Ummah in order to fight her enemies and protect the Muslims’ lands, not to protect the thrones that failed to even bat an eyelid in response to those horrific massacres.

Dear armed forces, commanders and officers!

If the politicians are conspiring and collaborating, where is the rest of the Muslims’ pride among the tens of thousands of ranked officers? It is reported that Napoleon Bonaparte uttered words that ought to be written in gold: “To have a lion commander with 30,000 rabbits behind him is better than to have a rabbit commander with 30,000 lions behind him.” So when are we going to see the lion commander, leading the Muslims’ lions, once they have broken free from the commands of the degenerate leaders whose main concern is to protect their thrones, even if the Ummah were to pay for this with the lives of her children, women, elderly and youths?
