Urgent Appeal

To the Commanders of the Armed Forces, the Officers of the General Staff, all Ranking Officers in the Armed Forces and to the People of Power and Protection in Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon

Commanders and Officers!

You are witnessing with your own eyes the slaughter and humiliation of the youth, elderly, women and children that has befallen the Muslims in Palestine at the hands of those upon whom Allah has decreed contemptibility and lowliness until the Day of Judgement. You are also witnessing how those filthy Jews, the killers of the Prophets, behave. They deprive the injured of emergency medical aid and let them bleed to death. They carry out summary executions and destroy the homes of your families and your brethren while they are inside. You are also witnessing the depravity and the vileness of the rulers. This should not come as a surprise to you since those spineless rulers sided with the Kuffar, their masters, who are your enemies.

It has become noticeably clear to you that those rulers who betrayed Allah, His Messenger and the believers have openly aborted the "war option" in submission to the wishes of the heads of Kufr, i.e. they discarded the dependence on your abilities. You are the people of protection, salvation and resoluteness and -despite their conspiracies- the rulers have tested you in the past and you have proved that you are indeed the people of Jihad and fighting, that you are the army of Muhammad (saw), in spite of the superiority of your enemies in terms of numbers and weaponry at the time; be it during the battle of Al-Karamah, the wars of attrition or the war of the 6th October 1973. Furthermore, your ancestors have a honourable history reflected in their defeat of the Tatars, the crusaders and all the enemies of Islam, throughout the eras of the Islamic Khilafah.

Commanders and Officers!

The Ummah is clearly and frankly hoping that you will respond to her call, now that the treacherous rulers have betrayed her, and that you will engage the Jewish army. You are capable of executing this with the whole Ummah behind you, praying to Allah that He would accept from her the martyrs she has to offer and seeking refuge from His wrath for ignoring the pleas for help of your brethren in Palestine, while hundreds of tanks destroy their cities and defile their dignity. Our enemies have relied on the treacherous rulers to keep your tanks in their barracks until they rust and your armaments and your weaponry in their boxes, whilst the Ummah had devoted a great deal of her wealth and her children in order to build her armies. She is fully prepared to sacrifice the rest of her children and all her wealth for your rise in arms and your outburst. She is ready to enter the battle and put an end to the humiliation and submission before those about whom history knows only their depravity and malice.

The demonstrations staged by the children of your Ummah throughout the various capitals and cities are demanding your initiative. However, the criminal rulers have set about muting these demonstrations, unleashing the anti-riot squads to disperse them by force and beat people harshly, with the intention of driving a wedge between the Ummah and her material forces and sowing animosity in her relationship with these forces.

Dear brothers, the Commanders and the Officers of various ranks!

The time is very ripe for you to break the backs of the conspirators and foil their conspiracies. These are aimed at endorsing the land of Palestine as the rightful property of the Jews and at establishing an entity that will act as a buffer zone between them and the rest of the region, over 20% of the land of Palestine, calling it the Palestinian state. Thus, another meagre entity being added to the existing entities that have ripped apart the body of the Ummah into shreds, due to the borders that they themselves had drawn in order to weaken this Ummah and facilitate their hegemony over each one of these entities.

Your standing up to this conspiracy during these days before it is concluded will be recorded for you by Allah before it is engraved by the Ummah for every courageous believer, in golden letters, in a fragrant register that will remain as a torch for her future generations.

Dear Brothers, Commanders, Officers and People of Power and Protection!

The conspiracy is about to be concluded. They are torturing people in Palestine in order to break their resolve and deflate their dignity and their manhood, so that the people of Palestine may not dare to think in the future about threatening the Jewish entity, once the signing of the so-called Final Status is accomplished. The Jews achieved this after they distanced you from the battlefield. During their frenzied criminal campaign, where the parity between the two sides is non-existent, the Jews have rounded up the noble sincere people and executed them. What they had fabricated in terms of siege against the traitor Arafat was but a prelude to him signing on behalf of the people in Palestine the agreements of treason, and endorsing that sacred land as a feudal right of the sons of pigs and monkeys, especially as the media had portrayed him as the steadfast ruler and the besieged icon.

To the grandsons of Khalid, Salahuddin and Muhammad al-Fatah!

You are the only ones who can quench the thirst of the Ummah for revenge from her enemies and the enemies of your Deen. You are the only ones who can foil the final chapter of the conspiracy over the land of Al-Israa', that blessed part of your lands, the lands of Islam. They have spent decades trying to tame the Ummah, cheating and subjugating her, in order to submit to this despicable finale. Only your march will liberate Palestine, expel the Jews and rub America's nose in the dust, America who is fighting your Islam under the guise of fighting terrorism.

With your advance, the frontline that they deemed secure will crumble. Do you wish for the Muslim women to remain under the contempt of the lout Kuffar? They are appealing to your Islam and your manhood to salvage them from those cowards. If one single division were to rebel, you would find that your brethren in the other divisions throughout the whole frontline, from Rafah to the Sheba'a Farms, would follow suit. You will gain the honour of initiating this move and fulfilling the hopes of the Ummah. Even the whole Ummah would follow you and the armies in Hijaz, Najd, Iraq and Iran would protect your backs. You will not be alone, by the permission of Allah.

So stand up to your task, may Allah bless you. Nations build their armies to fight their enemies and uproot them. Besides, waiting for the mercy of the enemy is the characteristic of the incapacitated and the coward. How could this be possible with your hearts bleeding for what has befallen your families?  You are from the best nation sent to mankind, whereas your enemies are the vilest creatures of Allah.

How could you not let us hear your words with the Ummah waiting for you and expecting action from you, now that she has rejected those rulers, the slaves of Allah's enemies, who have already given their instructions to mobilise parts of your armies to fight alongside America against the army of Iraq. However, those rulers do not have any sense of shame or guilt, with you being in the frontline facing the Jews. They want you and your artillery to remain silent before those cowards who are busy shedding the blood of your families. They have dedeployed a sizeable amount of their weapons from the frontlines they have with you because they relied on your obedience to those corrupt and impudent rulers, who convinced some of you that America's support renders Israel impregnable, as if this was greater than the support of Allah. The clash between the armed forces will neutralise America's favourite weapon -namely the air force- that is, if she chose to enter the battle. America's soldiers will not dare engage you in a ground battle, for they are cowards.

The Ummah is expecting from the honourable and dignified figures like you to respond to her appeal, and you are not from those who would allow the fate of the Ummah to remain in the hands of her enemies.

"Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers." TMQ
